HOLIDAY HEROES PROGRAM

Holiday Hero Program is underway. Each year, community members and businesses generously donate new toys, new clothing and food vouchers that are distributed to the children and families served by our agency.

Gifts for older children and youth are always needed. Toiletry items, pyjamas, hats, gloves, magazines, Tim Horton's gift cards, and movie passes are great options. Additionally, monetary donations are used to buy food vouchers so families can enjoy a hearty holiday meal.

New gifts and monetary donations can be dropped off at our depot at 1171 Gorham Street in Newmarket, Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., by Friday, December 16, 2011. Cheques can be made payable to "York Region Children's Aid Society," and please indicate your donation is for the program by including "Holiday Heroes" on the cheque subject line.
